Mark McGowan has accused the Prime Minister of abandoning the national plan to reopen when it suits NSW, again complaining of preferential treatment for Sydney.
The Western Australia Premier said the plan agreed on at national cabinet was ditched with Scott Morrison supporting NSW’s intention to open lift its lockdown and open borders at 70 per cent vaccine coverage.
“I note the Prime Minister endorsed it so I look forward to him being flexible about what we do,” he told reporters.
“The Commonwealth Government has put out an ad about how once lockdown finishes everybody will be partying and having barbecues and going on family picnics — we‘re already doing that.
